Share / Export

OBJ writes the active object only, evaluated, in true millimetres. STL export lives in the Scene card's Print section, beside the size controls.

Pick a primitive; segment / loop options apply on add.

Tool

Draw Cut

Your shape is now a cutter solid — the amber ghost. Choose the operation and depth and the object updates live. Apply keeps the cut as a live Boolean modifier on the object (flip it any time from the Modifiers tab); Cancel removes the cutter and leaves the scene exactly as it was.

Appearance — Display, Matcap & Theme

Shading, matcaps and colors apply live. Your choices are kept on this device between sessions.

Shading (basic)

Display

Shade Smooth / Flat — active object

Face shading. This changes only how the surface is lit in the viewport — no vertex ever moves and the mesh is not rebuilt. Shade Smooth blends a face's corner normals across soft edges; Shade Flat gives each face its own single normal. In Edit Mode the buttons apply to the selected faces; in Object Mode, to the whole object. Not the same as the Smooth Vertices tool, which moves vertices.

Mark Sharp (Edit Mode, edges selected): a marked edge stays hard under smooth shading at any angle — it draws cyan, like a creased edge. Clear Sharp removes the mark from the selected edges.

Matcap — baked-light material preview

Matcaps shade from the surface normal only, so they read smooth on curved shapes. Pick “Off” to return to basic shading. Wireframe overlay still draws on top.

Theme preset

Accent color — buttons, active states, sliders

Wireframe color

Custom:

The wireframe lines drawn over your model. Each theme has its own default — Midnight's is a pale ice blue so the wires read against its dark background; pick any color here to override it in every theme. Display only: picking and geometry never change.

Object opacity

How opaque the solid shading is. Lower it to see through the model while you work. The wireframe overlay has its own slider below.

100%

Wireframe overlay opacity

This slider sets the wire overlay strength in Shaded + Wire and Wire only; picking always chooses the front-most element under the tap.

100%

Far-side wires are faded by default. Turn Front wires only on to hide them completely — you see wireframe only on the side of the model facing you.
